This work features grapefruit and flying doves as its core. The work was created in collaboration between Douliu High School students and artists. It presents the future hope of the new generation and symbolizes the prosperity and vitality of Douliu. The grapefruit cross-section in the work is presented with simple lines, symbolizing the inner richness and outer protection of life. Pigeons, symbolizing peace and freedom, fly out from the center of the pomelo. The flying dynamics of the pigeons echo the tranquility and peace in the land of Douliu. The work expresses the determination and strength of the police and their closeness to the people.
