Description/

Through shaping and burning clay, this work is a metaphor of the education students are receiving on this campus. Area A:Natural stones are compared to the truthfulness of high school students, though plain, they will be polished into shiny jade one day. Area B:Installation of ceramic slabs with different textures, represent the ideas of different academic subjects teaching in this campus. The arrangement of the slabs takes the integration of the space into account. Area C:The tortoise shells, bamboo slips, carved boards and characters, publications and digital media represent the Chinese evolution of “Book”.
